Thank you for your custom during 2019 our 44th year of full time Japanese koi retailing, making us the longest established specialist koi dealer outside Japan
COVID 19 VIRUS UPDATE
In line with Government guidelines we are able to remain open as a business to supply the foods and products needed for animal welfare. The nature of our retail area, being outside and covering a large area, allows visitors to view our stocks of koi whilst observing the current recommendation on social distancing. Having operated a bio-secure quarantine facility for over 20 years we are fully aware of the care needed. With this in mind we have installed hand sanitiser dispensers and we will be asking customers to take sensible precautions and ensure they help us in ensuring social distancing measures are adhered to, because of this we will only being allowing one customer at a time in our shop and will not be running a BBQ.
Whilst we currently have good stock levels given that availability is continually changing we recommend ringing to reserve your foods and products
To ensure flexibility for our customers during this time;
Foods, pumps, blanket weed treatments and other dry goods can be ordered and paid for over the phone for delivery by courier (postage at cost price)
Goods can be ordered and paid for over the phone packaged by us for collection from a designated area in our car park
Visits can be made by appointment outside of our normal opening hours to allow you to view our stocks and make purchases as the only customer on the premises
Collection of “Growing on fish” and those purchased at our Christmas open day can be collected anytime to suit from Easter onwards
Dry goods offers will be available for all of April to allow your visit to be made at a less busy time
We will be open for all 4 days of the Easter weekend and will have some special offers of dry goods (listed below) that are normally required in the spring.

NEW SEASON KOI STOCKS
We have a large section of koi imported from the Japanese Autumn harvest in January. These koi have been fully quarantined and acclimatised and will be on display in our retail area for the first time this year
GROWING ON COMPETITION KOI
All koi from our October growing on competition will have been acclimatised and be ready for collection.
The photographs of the winning fish for growth and most improved fish will be displayed with the winners prizes available for collection. Photographs of all other competition fish also be displayed with their increase in growth shown. Please bring your copy photograph of your fish with you when making your collection. Any koi purchased at our Christmas open weekend will also have been acclimatised and will be ready for collection
POND MAINTANANCE
It is obviously paramount that the welfare of your koi is maintained so we are still able to offer our pond maintenance services. Some added precautions will be necessary so when you arrange a visit please ensure we are made fully aware of all your requirements so that no face to face discussions are necessary during our visit and that you stay indoors whilst we are undertaking the work. Payment for the work should be made by card over the phone
POND CONSTRUCTION
We are best known for building specialist koi ponds, either formal, informal or Japanese style, but we also undertake the design and construction of all types of pond, from water garden features to small lakes. All of which can be tailored to your specific requirements. If you wish to discuss your future plans we can, subject to being able to meet Government guidance on social distancing whilst on site, arrange a visit or, if preferred, discuss them over the phone and via e-mail and provide ideas and price indications. Whilst we can schedule work this will of course be subject to being able to meet ongoing Government guidance and the availability of materials, so whilst we will make every effort to meet agreed schedules you will appreciate these may change due to matters beyond our control
