23/09/10 - September Specials and Growing On Competition - Following the popularity and success of last years growing on competition we will be repeating the same format for this year. Last years fish that gained the greatest increase in length was a Sanke which increased by just over 15cm or about 6", most fish gained around 9cm in length as well as considerable bulk and improvement to body shape...Read More
29/03/10 - Growing On Competition Results - On the 19th & 20th special sale weekend in September we ran a growing on competition. The owner of the fish with the biggest increase in growth by 31st March 10 together with the owner of the fish to have improved the most will have their full purchase price refunded and receive a free 2kg bag of Hikari Saki growth (£29.99) and a 5kg bag of Medicarp (£54.95), the same as Avenue fisheries use through their facilities.
We have also awarded a booby prize to the fish that grew least, a £75 voucher for koi of the winners choice. A big thank-you to all who took part.

21/01/09 - Off To Japan - On Friday 29th of January Pam and Steve will be departing for Japan in their quest to find their spring collection of Koi. As normal on these trips they will be visiting all the best known breeders and selecting some top quality koi. This year also see's Steve judging at the All Japan Show.

02/03/09 - Double Chance Raffle - With a new twist, the famous Avenue Fisheries koi raffle is back for 2009. We will be running our customary free raffle over the two open weekend days with the prize being a £500 voucher redeemable for koi of the winner’s choice. This year we will also be running our usual Easter weekend £500 raffle but with an extra bonus-keep your copy raffle ticket from the March open weekend raffle and use it when you enter the Easter raffle to double your chances of winning- also if the winning ticket drawn out at the Easter raffle is a copy ticket from the March raffle the winning voucher prize will be doubled to £1000.

11/03/2008 - New koi update - The newly acquired fish from our recent trip will be arriving back at Heathrow on the evening of the the 18th March. This is our largest import to date and numbers over 90 boxes and a total of more than 2000 fish!! We anticipate having all the fish safely in their new ponds by the early morning on the 19th where they will then stay and serve their quarantine period.
